2024 Beneficiary

We are excited to announce For the Love of the Lake as a beneficiary of the 2024 White Rock East Garden Tour! This is the first time we are directing a portion of our proceeds to an organization that benefits all three neighborhoods!

For the Love of the Lake is dedicated to preservation and enhancement of White Rock Lake Park as an urban oasis and to ensure those who enjoy White Rock Lake Park actively engage in service to maintain the environment for future generations. Our donation will be directed to their ADA project with the Dallas Park and Recreation Department that includes the installation and or upgrades of designated picnic areas in White Rock Lake Park to make them accessible to all.

Garden Tour

May 19, 2024 | 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

If you’ve ever driven past a home with beautiful landscaping and wondered what the back garden looks like, this is your chance to find out! Each year we select 9 homes and give you exclusive access to get up close and enjoy their unique beauty.

The gardens are chosen from three White Rock neighborhoods. Casa Linda Estates is known for its culture of gardeners and plant enthusiasts, offering a mix of established and evolving garden spaces. Forest Hills, built on a wooded area around White Rock Lake and known for its large lot sizes, is a place homeowners are still proud to call “our home in a forest!” And funky Little Forest Hills, whose small lot sizes and high-density gardening concepts highlight the creative flair they’re known for. As a part of the 2024 Tour, we are also highlighting 2 sights that are near and dear to these neighborhoods - To be announced.

You will receive access to the gardens’ locations the week before the tour via an emailed map. Buy your tickets today!

* IN AN EFFORT TO BE ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY PLEASE COME HYDRATED AND BRING YOUR OWN BEVERAGE * Beverages will be for sale at food trucks throughout the neighborhood and at the park.

Local Artists

In addition to exploring the areas’ most exquisite gardens, each home you visit will showcase the artwork of local artisans. You will have an opportunity to explore a variety of pieces from abstract sculpture, landscape paintings, illustration, jewelry, stonework, and so much more. There will be two artists at each garden tour location, and our Artist Alcove at Casa Linda Park will feature over a dozen more!
